## What changed

Vapi's pricing page now publishes named Success Packages alongside its by-usage billing: Core at $29 a month, Pro at $999 a month (or 10 percent of the Vapi hosting fee), and custom-priced Premier, with a free by-usage default that carries $5 of starting credits.

## What it means for buyers

The packages buy concurrency, phone numbers, retention, and support SLAs, not minutes: telephony, transcription, intelligence, and voice are still billed per use underneath. Vapi's own calculator estimates $82 to $129 a month for 1,000 minutes with Deepgram, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs before any package. Teams under roughly 10,000 minutes a month can stay on the free by-usage default (4 concurrent calls, 1 included phone number) and skip the subscription; Core starts paying for itself when you need 10 concurrent calls or a response SLA. Premier is contracted, so compare it against Bland and enterprise Retell rather than self-serve tiers.
